• When will I receive my photos?

You will receive your final album within 4 weeks of your session/wedding. (Generally I am able to deliver them much sooner but this is dependent on the season and my current workload.)

For weddings, I post a sneak peek on my socials within one week for you to view and share as you wish.

  • How many images will I receive?

For weddings, you can expect to receive approximately 50 images per hour that I am contracted to work. Typically I shoot more than that, and you will receive all images that I feel are true to my standard of quality.

For portrait sessions, I will deliver a minimum of 20 images, but often we get many more.

  • What if I feel awkward in front of a camera?

I don’t think I’ve ever had a client who didn’t tell me that they felt awkward in front of the camera (and I honestly feel the same way on the other side of the lens.) My style is very casual, and I try to prompt/pose as little as possible. I prefer to have a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is at ease and happy to be there. Oh, and most clients even end up enjoying the process so have no fear!

  • What should I wear to my portrait session?

You wear whatever you feel your best in! Some photographers have strict guidelines for wardrobes so that the images can fit with their brand. My “brand” is authenticity, so you do you!

Many clients bring a change of clothes so their albums have a bit more variety. Totally up to you!

  • What if my child doesn't smile?

Part of the reason I avoid posed portraits is because it is generally uncomfortable for all involved and the smiles almost never look genuine. During your family session, you will be playing and having fun with your child. I will give easy, fun prompts as needed but I really strive to keep things as relaxed as possible. Kids feed off of our energy and I find they do better during these fun, casual sessions than a stiff, formal portrait session.

  • Will my images be watermarked?

Nope! Your digital album will include high-resolution images without a watermark that you are free to print anywhere you would like. I can recommend businesses that will provide high-quality prints for an affordable price, or you always have the option to purchase professional prints through me as well.

  • Can I order prints or an album through you?

Absolutely! If you are interested in purchasing professional prints or a physical album of your special day, please let me know and I can provide you with a price list. All clients receive a print release along with a digital album so that you may choose to print your photos on your own if you wish.

  • What if I don't want my photos shared online?

This is absolutely fine, but please let me know if you feel this way prior to working together so I can adjust your contract. Otherwise, my standard contract does stipulate that I have rights to share the photos that I take.

  • Can you provide me the RAW or unedited images from my session/wedding?

All of the photos taken during your session are carefully reviewed to determine which images are reflective of my work. I spend an average of 5-20 hours culling and editing these images to my artistic preferences. It is the standard for professional photographers to deny requests for RAW/unedited images.
